Huntington Beach Vow Renewal

Dolly and Matt never thought they would be together. They never thought they would get married, have a baby, and then be able to renew their vows. Before these two were together Matt was in a horrible car accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down. As he started his recovery journey he met his occupational therapist, Dolly. Throughout the hard work and struggles Matt & Dolly became fast friends. She even remembers the day when Matt called her into the room and stood up for the first time. Tears rolled down her face and she couldn’t help, but feel something special for him. Matt was able to improve greatly and even began to walk again! He was transferred to another place and months later reached out to Dolly and the rest was history. When I was asked to document their vow renewal at Huntington Beach Central Park I knew there was nowhere else I’d rather be. These two are a beautiful love story and are a great reminder to never give up and to be open to love.
