Emily and Chris met through their mutual friend, David. One day when Emily was over at David’s house, Chris walked through the door and in her head it was all over from there. That was 9 years ago and now they are planning their wedding in Kona, HI this August. These two have always been drawn to the islands. Hawaii represents a lot to them. It was in Hawaii when Chris first told Emily he loved her. It was a place they both spent many family vacations growing up. To them, Hawaii represents love, family, peacefulness and beauty, which is everything they want to incorporate into their wedding and in their life together. They chose Laguna Beach because of the picturesque scenery. From swaying palm trees on the cliffs to exposed tide pools they felt like it captured that “Aloha Spirit” they were looking for on the mainland. Chris loves Emily’s bubbly personality and Emily loves Chris’s sense of adventure and I think you can definitely see that in these photos as they splash, swim, run, and laugh together.
