STRESS, STRESS, GO AWAY. COME AGAIN…Actually no go away!
Being engaged is one of happiest moments of your life. You have so much fun being called a fiance, going cake tasting, and trying on dresses. But with wedding planning it is impossible to be stress free. Even though you can’t completely avoid it, here are some tips on how to deal with wedding planning stress!
Stay Organized
There are so many details that go into planning a wedding, things you didn’t even know existed! So if you need help hire a wedding planner. Create a binder or spreadsheet with all the info about your different vendors you are interested in. This will help you narrow down the options and keep everything in one place. Also create a schedule on what needs to be done and when. Don’t worry next week I will be sending you the complete wedding planning checklist! So keep an eye out for that!
Have a Me Day
Indulge in self care. During this process it is important to keep your mind and body healthy. Take a bath, get a manicure and pedicure, workout. Try to keep your body in tip top shape. Taking care of yourself will make sure you have enough energy to take on planning tasks and will help keep you stress free! Plus as Elle Woods from Legally Blonde says “Exercise gives you endorphins; endorphins make you happy,happy people just don’t shoot their husbands!” (or soon to be husbands haha)
Remember Why You are Doing This
You and your best friend are getting married!!! Remember why. Remember why you are choosing to spend the rest of your lives with each other. Don’t get wrapped up in all the planning stress. This day is for you both. So go on a date. Schedule time to be with one another where you don’t discuss anything wedding related. Just enjoy time together and remember why you are doing it!
