It’s hard to believe that a wedding could be this perfect. But this Sands Hotel Palm Springs Wedding was. From the details to the couple, to the vendors, everything was beyond perfect. And that’s how your wedding day should be.
Rachel & Bryan are from Canada and always dreamed of getting married in Palm Springs. They always loved the sunny vibe of this place and knew it was the perfect place to get married.
One of the great things about Sands Hotel & Spa is that when you book it for your wedding you get all the rooms. Which means your whole family and friends are taking over the place! I am talking about a fun time! All of Rachel and Bryan’s friends and family stayed at the Sands and trust me they celebrated the WHOLE weekend. Go check this wedding out. I bet after seeing these photos you will want a Sands Hotel Palm Springs wedding too! So thankful that Brogen Jessup brought me on as her second photographer!
Okay the Spa at the Sands Hotel is TO DIE FOR! Literally a photographer’s dream. It was so perfect for getting ready photos and Rachel and her mom were able to share a special moment as she slipped on her dress.
After the groomsmen are finished getting ready I always make it a priority to get some fun shots of them hanging out at the bar or doing something they like. Having some downtime where they can just relax before the first look is always a great way to get rid of any nerves the groom may be feeling!
Rachel and Bryan had their first look in the lobby of the Sands Hotel. It was so beautiful and I could not have asked for a better first look location!
After the first look we took the bridal party to The Living Desert for bridal party photos. It was truly so perfect!
At the Living Desert we found a carousel so of course we had to hop on for a few photos and a ride! This bridal party was a blast and was down for anything!
Don’t even get me started on this ceremony site! The famous Sands Hotel doors was the perfect backdrop for the couple to say I Do!
With it being Palm Springs we had to sneak Rachel & Bryan out for a few sunset portraits in front of the palm trees.
One of the great things about doing a first look is that it allows the bride and groom to enjoy cocktail hour. Not only were Rachel and Bryan able to cheers each other on their special day, but they were also able to laugh with friends and family.
During cocktail hour Aperol Spritz and martinis were passed around! They were making sure happy hour was indeed HAPPY!
The pool area was perfect for Rachel & Bryan’s reception. Their pink color tone went perfect with the blue water and no matter where you stood everything looked so gorgeous!
Rachel & Bryan really wanted to party and CELEBRATE! So on top of hiring an amazing DJ who actually scratched they also hired two musicians to get the dance floor started! The Pink Cabana turned into a nightclub and it was truly the perfect setting for all the dancing.
This right here is how you should be at the end of your wedding day. Happy, carefree, and having the best time of your life! This Sands Hotel Palm Springs Wedding will always be a favorite of mine!
