Ashley and Brett had the most perfect Indian Cove Amphitheater wedding! I mean with a background of Joshua Tree how could you go wrong! So these two had the best of both worlds: Palm Springs & Joshua Tree! They got ready at a hotel in Palm Springs with their closest friends and then headed to Joshua tree for photos and their ceremony. This day was so beautiful and I can’t wait for you to check out the golden hour romantics. So dreamy!!
So thankful that Brogen Jessup brought me on as her second photographer.
When you have Veuve Clicquot champagne (my favorite) and Versace perfume you know you are going to have great details and a great morning!
Brett’s groomsmen were groomsmen goals! Not only where they dressed to the nines in tuxes, but they were down for anything! After we took some group shots we headed to the bar. One of my favorite things to do with my groom and groomsmen is to hit the bar after portraits that way they have time to loosen up and just have fun. It also makes for the best laid back and candid photos!
I mean all of them laying in the pool lounge chairs! Need I say more.
We found these really cool bikes at the hotel lobby and I just knew I wanted to use them for portraits. Check them out later for the bride and groom portraits! So stinkin cute!
Brett even got a little emotional when he saw Ashley for the first time during their first look. First looks are always my favorite and they crate such a special moment between my couples. 90% of all my couples choose to do a first look and they always say it was their favorite part of the whole day!
Remember those bikes I talked about earlier?? Well here they are! Brett and Ashley had a little fun riding the bikes around!
After the first look the bridal party piled into buses and we headed to Joshua Tree. We found the perfect road and boulders to stop and take pictures at.
At Indian Cove Amphitheater the ceremony background is this drop dead gorgeous rock. It really could not have been any better!
These family portraits are also some of my favorites. The great thing about getting married at the desert is that the whole day is perfect for taking photos. Instead of only having a certain blocked time where the sun is perfect you can take photos all day because the sand is a natural reflector! Desert weddings are always my favorite because it makes the timeline and day go so much smoother!
Their groomsmen had a little fun climbing on all the rocks!
Ashley and Brett’s portraits are hands down some of my favorites! This location was EVERYTHING!
Instead of a cake Ashley and Brett had Kirspy Kreme donuts! It was such a great way to incorporate something they both loved.
After all the portraits Brett and his groomsmen snuck out into the wilderness and chilled out for a little bit. These guys are such bad asses!
