Ethey & Lendl’s Long Beach engagement photos fit their love story perfectly. They met in Long Beach, so we spent the day hitting up some of their favorite places.

The first stop was Shannons on Second Street. These two spent many weekends hitting up the local bars and putting down a few beers. Second Street is a staple in Long Beach! I, myself, spent a lot of time there with friends during college, so it was so special for me to go back and photograph this area.

After grabbing a beer we found the apartment they shared together. Before dating these two met in college and were roommates. They started out as friends, which made their relationship that much stronger.

And lastly we ended at Signal Hill, which is a beautiful place to watch the sunset. One of the reasons I love these Long Beach engagement photos, besides getting to do it in one of my favorite cities, is because the couple made sure to make it about them and their relationship. They picked a location that is important to them where they could really show off their personalities. I try to push all my couples to do the same!
