Annie & Justin’s forest engagement photos had it all: a cute retro A frame Cabin, the woods, drinks, & not to mention some kick ass personalities.  These two met back in 2014 at a mutual friend’s party. They became instant best friends. Everyone always joked about them dating one day, but at the time they just saw each other as great friends and didn’t want to ruin that. Well it all changed one day. They decided to hang out one on one and did a hike at Torrey Pines. They kissed and you could say it was the end of their friendship, because in that moment they knew they were more than friends! They dated for 5 years and then Justin proposed to her at the same place they hiked 5 years ago! SO FREAKING CUTE!

Big Bear has always been a special place for Justin. He always came up with his family so we knew it was the perfect place for these two. We started their engagement session at this amazing A-frame Cabin. We kept joking about how we all wanted to live there.

To end the session at the cabin we decided to shot gun Twisted Tea! And of course Annie won 😉

For her second look Annie rented the most awesome dress from Olivia’s Rentals!  I mean paired with her hat and sunnies she is the freaking coolest human being ever! Also fun fact these forest engagement photos were captured right behind a Sizzler!! And it happened to be the exact Sizzler that Justin use to go to as a kid with his family.
