The Resort at Pelican Hill // Newport Beach, CA
The Resort at Pelican Hill is beyond luxurious! It is perched upon 504 acres and the ocean view is spectacular. This venue is a blend of 16th century Palladian architecture and the beauty of the California coast. Besides the drop dead gorgeous ceremony location there is a beautiful pathway filled with garden hedges. I mean check out that last picture! To die for am I right?
Rancho Las Lomas // Silverado, CA
This sweet Southern California secret is surrounded by lush lawns, ancient oaks, mature apple trees and a zoological garden of gorgeousness. You will probably even spot a zebra! Be it inside Casa Bella or the Grand Salon, outdoors amid gorgeous gardens and the antique staircase of La Terraza or the open-air amphitheater of El Teatro, Rancho Las Lomas provides venue spaces each one more unique and filled with amazing architectural details than the other. Franciscan Gardens // San Juan Capistrano, CA
Franciscan Gardens is known for its lush and beauty. A vintage atmosphere envelopes this historic loft space, giving an elegant air to couples’ weddings. Outdoor events that take place surrounded by lush walls of greenery and exposed brick await couples and their guests at this venue. Large wooden gates swing open to a charming courtyard, where string lights are hung overhead and the concrete underfoot is sturdy. Walls of this courtyard crawl with thick greenery, giving the space plenty of natural garden influence. Many couples also choose to take their portraits at Mission San Juan Capistrano, which is nearby.
Monarch Beach Resort // Dana Point, CA
This waterfront wedding venue is the coastal and tropical destination of couples’ dreams. As many as 1,000 guests can attend a couple’s wedding at the Monarch Beach Resort. That’s right a 1,000!!! The Grand Lawn is the county club’s signature ceremony setting. Here couples will find not just green lush lawns but also stone pathways, ocean views and a romantic white gazebo with a domed top of wrought iron under which they can exchange vows. Behind the rows of chairs for guests, the Monarch Beach Resort rises up with grand staircases, a massive fountain and a balcony reminiscent of a Shakespeare scene. Inside, the Pacific Ballroom welcomes couples and guests with coffered ceilings, bronze chandeliers and frescoed artwork.

Casino San Clemente // San Clemente, CA
Established in 1937, the historic Casino San Clemente with its vintage gardens, ocean views & ideal dance hall is the perfect spot for intimate gatherings & large events! It may seem small, but there are so many spaces that create unique and different locations. The beach is also across the street, so I always love grabbing my couples for some sunset portraits there.
Villa San Juan Capistrano // San Juan Capistrano, CA
Nestled in the old Spanish town of San Juan Capistrano, lies a turn-of-the-century home covered in ivy. A mahogany door, complete with an detailed metal door knocker, awaits the arrival of welcomed guests. Step inside The Villa and feel the essence of time flourish around you and your loved ones as you invite them into a historic building, filled with fine antiques flown in from around the world. A beautiful stone courtyard sets the stage for a romantic wedding ceremony and reception, all shaded by ancient fruit trees, and enhanced by flickering gas lanterns throughout the property. Couples can also take portraits at the Mission San Juan Capistrano as well! Yay two locations in one!
Huntington Bay Club // Huntington Beach, CA
This coastal waterfront venue is modern and nautical, with rows of windows and a gray facade on the Huntington Harbour. Couples can choose from three indoor ballrooms and other outdoor spaces for their wedding events at this venue. The most popular ceremony location is the Bayfront Beach, a private white sand beach with mature palms and expansive harbor views. And wow is is beautiful!
Ole Hansen Beach Club // San Clemente, CA
This white stucco building in a 1928 Spanish-Revival style features gorgeous details inside and sunny lawns outside with ocean views. The building itself features traditional arched doorways, hand-painted tiles, elaborate stained-glass windows and original wrought-iron grillwork. Red clay roof tiles add a pop of color to the white stucco of the building’s exterior, and compliments the greenery of the surrounding landscape. Perfect for oceanside ceremonies, couples can set up an arbor or arch in the grass, framed by palm trees, with ocean waves in the background to exchange their vows and begin their lives together.
