Matt, Hailey and I go way back. We all met in highschool so I was thrilled when almost 10 years later they asked me to capture their big day! As I sat with them going over their wedding day Hailey couldn’t stop beaming. As she told the story of he proposed you could see Matt wanting to chime in and smiling constantly and holding her hand. Just so in love!! Matt pretended that his company was having a holiday party at a hotel. And she believed him! As she entered the area of where the “party” was supposed to happen and didn’t see anyone Matt got down on one knee and her life changed forever. Just hanging out with them I knew they wouldn’t want to do a “normal” engagement session. They didn’t and man did I love every minute of it!

Matt and Hailey love trying out local breweries, so what better way to have their engagement session there, share a beer, and laugh a ton! We started out at Brewery X in Anaheim and oh my word do they have amazing beer! The Guava Radler is to die for! After we spent some time at the brewery we headed over to Oak Canyon Nature Center for some more romantic images. I had so much fun with these two and cannot wait for their upcoming wedding at The Slate Barn and Gardens.
