The Richard Nixon Library wedding venue is the perfect place to say I do in Orange County. Like most 2020 Couples Kelsey and Jonny had to postpone their day, but in the end it was everything they had hoped for and more!
Kelsey started her day by getting her makeup done by one of my favorite artists: Makeup by Michelle Jones. Michelle is so gifted and truly brought Kelsey’s vision to life. Kelsey also shared a special moment with her two sisters as they helped her get into her Maggie Sottero wedding dress.
The Finishing Touch Wedding Design did all of the florals and they were so beautiful. I can’t get over Kelsey’s orchid bouquet!
Kelsey’s favorite moment of the day was their first look. She was surprisingly really nervous and anxious in a good way. Once she tapped him on the shoulder and saw him turn around, his reaction was everything. That is something she will never forget.
Jonny’s favorite moment was watching Kelsey walk down the aisle.
Kelsey and Jonny’s husband and wife portraits are some of my favorites. Ah this light was just so beautiful!
Their wedding reception was decorated so beautifully. The Richard Nixon Library has an amazing ballroom which hosted all of their guests and family.
Kelsey’s biggest advice to couples planning their wedding is to allow yourself to take a step back and enjoy your day. It goes by so much faster than you can imagine. And what’s Jonny’s advice? He says “Yes dear, which credit card would you like to use” haha
